Extra Notes:

One of the ways a curious pony will approach a human is by grazing and gradually getting closer and closer to them. It’s quite funny to watch, as they are pretending to graze, but have actually got their eyes on you.

It’s important when you are working with young unhandled foals like this that you spend as much time with them as possible. That doesn’t mean spending time “doing” things with them, but spending time just “being” with them. This could mean sitting in the field with them, or just hanging about. This means that they will accept your presence and get used to your movements.
