We had to move the ponies to some new fields today. Unfortunately the place we were grazing them was only temporary, and we needed to find a place of our own. We have managed to find two lovely fields with 2 really nice stables owned by a local lady who is really supportive of what we are doing. The ponies had to go on a very short journey to the new fields, and then got down to eating as soon as possible. Unfortunately they had to be on their own for four days which we weren’t too happy about as they are happier if there is an older pony to look to for support and help. We made sure that there was plenty of straw, hay and water in the stable for them and left it open so that they could go in and out of it if they wanted to. The next morning they had obviously been in there quite a bit as there were plenty of droppings in there!
