They have also been a bit wary when we walk through the field carrying down bales of hay to the stable. We decided to walk through the field and stop quite close to them and put the bale of hay on the floor. I sat next to it and very quickly they all came over to investigate me and the hay! At first they were a bit worried about me being so close, but pretty soon they got over this and they realised I wasn’t really scary! They started munching away, a little wary at first, but very soon they relaxed and got used to me being there as well.

They are no longer scared when we walk through the field with Hay – normally once ponies see that something isn’t a threat, then they will get used to is pretty quickly.
